Stand at ease. Here, we won't bug you with: "You are scum and we are good, all we want is another member so we can beat this other lousy unit in sheer number" attitude.  We are a group of people that liked to play MechWarrior 3 online and decided to start a unit to get more friends. All we want is a good friend with whom to play, and a warrior we can rely on, and trust with our virtual life in battle.  Sure, this is about friendship, but a bit military too.  Some of us have a desire for intense competition so we joined the <a href="http://www.fuml.net" target="_blank">Free Universe Mechwarriors League (FUML)</a> which plays almost exclusively on the <a href="http://www.zone.com/mechwar3">MSZone</a> .   Others of us wish to mostly play games with a more care free attitude.  We are a open and diverse group of mostly older more mature members from around the world.   We pride our self  on the maturity and great character of our members.  We don't want any attitudes like: "I'm on top of the ladder so all you guys suck!" type of guy/girl.  All we want was explained above. If you think you don't have these qualities, then just read on but don't try to <a href="join/join.htm">join</a>. We don't like this kind of attitude. <small><strong>WE ARE ABOUT "FUN" FIRST AND FOREMOST!</strong></small></p> <p>    Now that we told you what we DO and DON'T WANT in you, you surely want to know more about us. Well, the description here is very brief... The ComStar Guard are a battle unit from ComStar, the communications agency of the IS. They are supposed to be a pacific, unarmed faction, and neutral too. But since the Exodus, ComStar has been gaining Lostech, and keeping it in reserve.  They had many Mechs of the Star League era, even though all the Successor Lords didn't have, let's say, pulse laser tech, ComStar still had some left in their "backyards".  When the Clans arrived, they defeated all the Successor lords on all planets... When the Clans tried to invade Tukkayid, they found a new unit: the ComStar Guard.  Armed with the old Star League weaponry, this was the first defeat of the Clans to the inferior Inner Sphere.</p> <p>    The reason of reviving this unit? On all the threads, no one ever talks about them! It's time they remember... It's time they remember the ones who saved the entire IS from total annihilation!  And it's time to teach the Clans that not just the Successor Lords will fight, but even ComStar, the one that are supposed to be neutral in ANY conflict... This is about Survival...
