Hi everyone I've already posted a couple of times, but since I've applied for membership,I think its time to introduce my self. I'm a refugee from MW 2 , I haven't done much since till 6 months ago I became involved in MW 4 Mercs. I've had the pleasure of dropping more than a few times with CSG_Shrimp, probably why i'm here now. I hope you guys will start to become active soon. If I am accepted as a member I will do my best to put the word out that the ComStar Guard is still around. I call Queensland, Australia home and don't have much of a problem connecting to servers in the US with no noticeable lag. MW4 and Me

Guys I have to say that I'm not excited at all about the MW4 free release, nor from the lack of chatter here are many of you either. I REALLY want to be excited .... just cant seem to do it. I am very very addicted to Eve Online right now and dont see myself being torn away from it for the near future. I play it any possible chance I get and think about it often when I'm not. This is how I felt about mechwarrior, but frankly mw4 is old, and we played the heck out of it, but free release or not its still old and I am bored of it. :( we need a new mech game, the teaser for mw5 got my blood flowing again and I'd drop everthing to play something like that. So I'm disapointed , in myself and the game and the lack of chatter here. Sorry. :(

3D Gaming?

A couple of months ago I was given a look at a demo 42' 3D TV which, was fairly spectacular, turned my thoughts to wondering when 3D gaming would become a reality. Now although I think it's got a way to go, and that I'll let the technology develop depreciate a bit before I spend any of my hard earned Dinaro on it, I I did a little search to find that nVidia are already selling 3D gear. I was wondering if anyone had tried the 3D gaming experience?

Thief, Good to see you online. Anyone else who wants to try Eve Onlin free for like 3 weeks I can send you a invite otherwise it is like a 2 week trial. Here is some great starter info... 'http://eve.battleclinic.com/'>http://eve.battleclinic.com/ Then under Tools menu at the bottom right of the list are the two BEST programs. EveMon is a offline tool to plan skills training to be most effiecient EveHQ is a swiss army knife of tools to do skills training but not as good as EveMon, but is GREAT for ship configuration planning and see in advance what you can take for Damage / Sec (DPS) and how much you can dish out. EveOnline is all about rates.... how fast can I dish out DPS vs How much DPS you can tollerate. A bigger shield with a lower DPS wll loose to a ship with a small shield but it recharges faster than you can dish out damage etc. :)

I just started up MekTek MTX and there is 'Mechwarrior4:Mercenaries, 1791mb, available for install'. I dont see any news release from mektek but im installing it now, dloading at 1.2mbps, I'll let you know if this is it :) hmm looks like the latest mechpak is 1.7gb.... we'll see. well, its MW4 alright, it luanched and failed with an error that said 'please install mw4 mercenaries into the drive', no way around it.

MekPak 3.1 is out.
