A couple of months ago I was given a look at a demo 42" 3D TV which, was fairly spectacular, turned my thoughts to wondering when 3D gaming would become a reality.

Now although I think it's got a way to go, and that I'll let the technology develop & depreciate a bit before I spend any of my hard earned Dinaro on it, I I did a little search to find that nVidia are already selling 3D gear.

I was wondering if anyone had tried the 3D gaming experience? 

Long time no talk lol. I have tried the nVidia 3D gaming setups. They are nice, but you still have to wear glasses to get the effect. Since I wear a combo of Contact/Glasses most days I can already imagine the strain my eyes are going to be enduring.

Personally I think this whole 3D TVs and games is a fad. Oh yes I did see Avatar in 3D and it was awesome. The problem is that when TV shows go 3D how many people are really going to upgrade their TV sets to take advantage of it?
