I have been married 8 years so far. My wife is much younger than me. (I won't divulge her age though). We have 4 wonderful kids: twin 5.5 year old girls, an almost 3 year old man-cub, and a 3 month old boy. The first boy loves to watch me play MW3 & MW4. I am ready to rock on MC2. Hobbies/Interests (Other than my family): Playing on the 'puter, cooking, scuba diving, rock climbing, swimming, singing. Actively involved in our church.
I started playing the CrescentHawk's Inception on my now-dead Commodore128. I have played the CrescentHawk's Revenge and Original Mechwarrior on a friend's IBM. I have played MW2/GB/Mercs, but not on-line. I have only been playing MW3 & PM on the zone for 2 or 3 months, though I have been playing the games since they came out. Also have played Mechcommander since I got my "real" computer a year and a half ago. I got MCG when it hit the shelves.
CSG_Wolf and I have been modemand on-line gaming for 2 years. I started playing with CSG with or against Playa112, Mhowatt, and Laserkid. Against the game scenarios I thought I had some really good moves and mechs. I still have a lot to learn. And I a definitely willing.
As far as the Battletech universe goes, I could be called a "mechie". I have ALL of the novels, even "The Sword and the Dagger". I have just about all of the other references. A few I found boring so I left them on the shelves. If any of you are into miniatures, I will gladly pit any or all of my combined arms regiment against your in battle. I started writing a Battletech novel a few years ago, but just haven't had an opportunity to work on it very much. My original zone ID, Tovar_Roche, is a character in the novel. If you want to talk B'tech, I would love to chat.
